Corrections

We would rather show no number than a wrong one. If something on suburbmap looks wrong, tell us: we triage every report within 48 hours and publish the outcome.

How corrections work

  1. You send a report with the form below. The "Report an error" link on a metric can fill in the metric and area for you.
  2. We triage every report within 48 hours: we check the value against the publisher's own data and our method.
  3. Once triaged, the report appears in the public log below with its status and a short note on the outcome. Your message and contact details are never published.
  4. If a published value was wrong, we fix the cause, re-run our data checks, and list the change in the next data release.

How each number is produced is on the methodology page.

Report an error

A report stores what you enter here and the time it was sent. This page sets no cookies.

The area code from the page you were on: an SA2 code, or suburb: followed by the suburb's code. The "Report an error" link fills this in for you.

At least 10 characters. Tell us what you expected to see and, if you can, where the correct figure is published.

An email address if you would like a reply. It is never published.
